ABOUT ROBBIE MCLEAN
Glasgow based filmmaker, Robbie McLean graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2021 with a BA in Film & TV. Since then she has been working as Production Trainee with Oxford Films, supporting the editorial department, while writing/directing microbudget shorts in her spare time. Her work explores vulnerability, strength and connections between women, often blending documentary and fiction. During her time at ECA she has collaborated on a number of student and award winning shorts. She has rich experience in the art department (from bringing to life a vibrant world of socks to building a sinister crawl space inhabited by a stalker). In 2021 She worked as art director on Sharp Shorts’, The A.V. Van. Robbie has found her calling in intergenerational story telling, with particular attention to portrayals of Dementia.
